In Luke 10:2, Jesus Himself sent 70 workers ahead of Him in pairs, and told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” What a wonderful answer to prayer when the laborers He calls are indigenous to the region they serve, meaning they’re already familiar with the language, culture and people because to they’re native to the region. This allows the laborer to focus on ministry instead of having to learn so many new things. When you sponsor a specific laborer, you will receive regular updates on that ministry. When you sponsor, you become a minister!
While child sponsorships are vital, as they provide long-term physical, emotional and spiritual care, camps are designed to minister with the gospel to many more children, teens and adults at one time. Also, sometimes it’s the only way someone will hear the gospel.

Sometimes people are the most open to the gospel when they’re in physical need. Your donation will give someone the chance to hear the good news when they’re probably most receptive to it. Praying Friends stands ready to meet the spiritual and physical needs of those impacted by disaster and hardship.
